Railway Viaduct

  • Extending the railway viaduct along the eastern bank of Tuen Mun River, and across the river to Wu King Road.
  • Foundation works and pier construction are in progress. Construction of viaduct superstructure will commence by the end of this year.

Progress of Community Facility Re-provisioning Works

Re-provisioning of Tuen Mun Swimming Pool

  • Main structural works for the new swimming pool have been completed.
  • Various fitting-out, electrical & mechanical, and building services works are in full swing. The re-provisioning works are targeted for completion in 2026.

Re-provisioning of GREEN@TUEN MUN

  • The re-provisioned GREEN@TUEN MUN at No. 5 Lung Chak Road was opened on 19 March 2025.
  • The original GREEN@TUEN MUN at Tuen Yee Street has been closed and demolished to create space for the construction of railway facilities.

Re-provisioning of Tuen Mun River (Eastern Bank) Garden and Pet Garden

  • The Phase 1 re-provisioning of the Garden has been completed, and it was opened to members of the public by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department on 9 October 2024.

Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Public Toilet

  • Underground utilities connection works for the temporary public toilet are being carried out at Tuen Mun Promenade in an orderly manner.
  • Construction of the temporary public toilet is expected to be completed in 2025.
  • The existing Tuen Mun Ferry Pier Public Toilet will then be demolished and will be re-provisioned at its original location after completion of relevant railway works.
