The largest re-provisioned community facility under the Tuen Mun South Extension project – the new Tuen Mun Swimming Pool opened on 24 February 2026.

Apart from constructing the railway in the community, we have also re-provisioned community facilities to enhance residents’ living standards. The new swimming pool is fully upgraded, including all-weather indoor heated pools which allow people to swim comfortably in winter.

The original swimming pool is being demolished for the full-scale construction of A16 Station.

As the pool has been relocated to the vicinity of the “Light Rail Depot Stop”, the existing light rail stop – the “Tuen Mun Swimming Pool Stop” adjacent to the original pool will be renamed as “Hoi Wong Road Stop”. The renaming of the stop is expected to take place in mid-year, with details to be announced when appropriate.
