As the construction of Tuen Mun South Station* progresses in an orderly manner, re-provisioning works for Siu Hei Bridge on Wu King Road have been completed, and the footbridge opened for public use on 25 June 2026.

Residents can use the original ramps on both sides of Siu Hei Bridge and the stairs near Wu King Estate to travel between the footbridge, ground level, Siu Hei Shopping Centre, and Wu King Estate. The stairs adjacent to Siu Hei Shopping Centre will be opened once the nearby underground utility diversion works are completed.

The earlier demolition of the original Siu Hei Bridge deck was carried out to facilitate the construction works of Tuen Mun South Station, making adjustments to create space. The re-provisioned Siu Hei Bridge reconnects with the local footbridge network and, in the future, will also connect with Tuen Mun South Station*, enhancing local and external transport connectivity to bring a more convenient travel experience to the community.
