How do we secure a new station foothold in a bustling community packed with high-rise buildings and a maze of underground utilities? It takes innovative technology working hand in hand with meticulous planning. Positioned above a major traffic corridor, Tuen Mun South Station adopts a compact and elevated design that maximises the use of limited space.

By placing most station facilities on the elevated levels, the concourse and platforms will be located on the same level, preserving the four traffic lanes beneath the station upon completion. The station will also connect to the existing footbridge network, strengthening community connectivity.

With station foundation works substantially completed, the project is set to move into the next major milestone: superstructure construction!
