To facilitate the construction of A16 Station^ and related railway facilities along the Tuen Mun South Extension (TME), the new GREEN@TUEN MUN facility has been re-provisioned by MTR Corporation and handed over to the Environmental Protection Department for opening to members of the public on 19 March 2025, allowing local residents to continue their green lifestyles.
Following the completion of Phase 1 re-provisioned Tuen Mun River (Eastern Bank) Garden and Pet Garden, GREEN@TUEN MUN is the second re-provisioned community facility completed under the TME project. It is conveniently located at 5 Lung Chak Road (opposite to Lung Mun Oasis). The new facility features sustainable design, including greenery and solar panels, harmoniously integrating with the community. It also includes a sitting-out area, providing residents with another comfortable place to relax and cool off, in addition to its recycling services.

Following the service commencement of the new facility, the original GREEN@TUEN MUN located at Tuen Yee Street has been closed for demolition to make way for construction of railway station. Suitable construction material wastes after demolition of the facility will be sent to recycling points for sustainability. Related article: Tree recycling and Upcycling
More re-provisioned facilities will be completed in the future, further enhancing the quality of life and bringing more opportunities to the Tuen Mun South community.
